For anyone who still wonders if the Nerd vs. Critic set is a real product and not just some theoretical construct, we present the following images:

I'll eventually redo these with a better camera (the one I have is ten years old), but they'll suffice for now.

After months and months of delays stretching all the way back to October, we're excited to finally be able to hold evidence of all the tireless work we've put into this project. Not too shabby for something tossed together by three guys with day jobs, right?

We want to thank everyone who helped us along the way: James Rolfe and the crew at cinemassacre.com; Doug Walker and the folks over at thatguywiththeglasses.com; and all the artists who were so eager to contribute. We also want to thank everyone who's stuck with us and been patient in the face of a four-month presale that we never intended to drag out so long.

More pics are on the way, so keep checking this thread for additional updates!

More pictures! These were taken by Kalan.

First, some shots of the shipment we received today (consisting of the last 80% of the order). We had the joy of unloading 10 pallets--weighing about 2,500 pounds in total--off the back of a freight truck and then breaking everything down for storage. Took us about two hours!

And here are a few shots of the orders as we're processing them:

Yeah, before the cards game in, there was a lot of obsessive Mario Kart/Galaxy playing going on in this house. I'm glad we have something productive to do again.  Grin

I got the cards in the mail a couple days ago, and I'm still trying to find the last few pieces of my head (I now regret not owning a helmet).

Go ahead and pulling your hair out, you'll lose it anyway when your head explodes from the shear magnitude of these cards.  And if you have a helmet, then your flesh will still be ripped from your bones by the (un)Holy light emitted by the foils.

P.S.- did anyone else notice that Geek Fight was in the Dragon*con first updae packet?
Legitimacy, we has it.

We thank everyone for the positive feedback. As for our current status, we've been steadily shipping out orders, but it's been taking longer than we expected, mainly due to the timing of it all. Charon's in the middle of moving, and the rest of us have different school/work schedules, so we have to do a lot of our tasks individually and communicate via Internet. We have taken a big chunk out of the orders, though. It just might take a few more weeks to get through them all.

BTW, Alpha; What packet are you talking about? I haven't seen it yet.

I have that packet, but I did not really look through it. Where are we mentioned?

EDIT: They are sneaky. I found it on page 52. It is not a text mention, but a pic! They must have found some of the packs we sprinkled around on our way out. Too bad they don't mention our name. Tongue
